The pupils of Corpus Christi Catholic School shared a wonderful experience in the chapel of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Boscombe. Eight classes along with the staff participated in the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. For many children this was their first experience and they shared a special and spiritual time together. Music, reflection, sharing, peaceful prayer and stillness combined perfectly together to provide an uplifting experience for everyone. ‘I feel very peaceful and close to God’, a boy in Year 5 said as he left the chapel. A member of staff said that “it was wonderful to have a time of peace and reflection and that I truly felt the presence of our Lord at that time”.

For us Handmaids it has been a great joy to see the children and the staff coming to be with Jesus. This is what St.Raphaela always desired that each person could meet Jesus in adoration in a deeper way.
